TheraBill – Billing Made Simple

FreeHipaa -FreeHipaa would constantly go down without warning.  The last time, they shut down for almost a month.  I would also have trouble with healthcare claims just not going through, even though, on my end it showed they were sent.  I lost a lot of money that way.  There was no way to contact anyone for support and they were unresponsive.

Solace – I tried to switch to Solace but it was far too confusing.  I could never figure it out without the spreadsheet in front of me.  I made so many mistakes because it was complicated, that I lost money.  Whenever I tried to call them they were surly and crabby and would just tell me to look at the spreadsheet.  I also had the same problem with them slowing down or having trouble intermittently.  I switched back to FreeHipaa.

TheraBill – A physical therapist I worked with recommended TheraBill.  I tried it.  It was amazing.  It is far easier than FreeHipaa and infinitely easier to use than Solace.  The man who started it (Joe Dundas) is the husband of an Early Intervention Speech Pathologist who saw his wife was struggling with  healthcare billing and created this health care billing and practice management program.  He answers the phone on the first ring and walks you through everything.  He individualized my billing program specifically for me.  For my ongoing kids, at the end of the day, I hit one button and it automatically sends the electronic invoices to the Early Intervention Central Billing Office – ONE BUTTON!  For my eval kids, it has defaults that I requested so that I fill out six lines and that is it.  Also, the most important thing – my payments came far faster with TheraBill than with either Solace or FreeHipaa – with far less errors.
